Roku express is a low cost streaming device. The roku express is great for a secondary TV, kid’s room or guest room. Only supports HD and isn’t as fast as the higher end models.

Roku Premiere is small standalone unit. The Roku Premiere offers full HD and 4K streaming playback. For some the lack of 5Ghz wireless may cause playback and buffering issues if you have poor 2.4Ghz signal quality. The line of sight remote means you have to point the remote at the Roku to change channels.

The speed of the Roku Ultra makes it the winner. If you like channels to start and load quickly, video images to scroll fast and smooth the Roku Ultra is the choice for you! The RF remote is nice when you have to scroll through a larger number of movies.
The Roku Streaming Stick is our second choice. Not as powerful as the Roku Ultra but it holds its own and is still peppy. Channels load fast but not as fast as the Roku Ultra. The smaller size makes it more convenient for wall mounted TV’s.
